Rev. Robert Shavers was born in Chicago and grew up on the city's South Side. He graduated from Englewood High School and served in the United States Air Force as an aircraft mechanic.

 

He served as Associate and Assistant Pastor over the years.  He was recently appointed to the position of Senior Pastor after the untimely death of his Pastor Percy L. Turner.

 

Pastor Bob has a heart to see souls turn to the Lord in the city. he will continue to carry the torch of jesus Christ while serving at JCFC.
