James W. Render III is a native Chicagoan. He is a music instructor as well as a performer. He has performed on the Nashville Gospel Show alongside Dr. Bobby Jones. He was a recording artist for Voodoo Records with Phil Upchurch Jr., Robert Irving and Tony Ransom. Mr. Render has also performed with the house band for the TV gospel show Testify. There he performed with Dawkins and Dawkins, Karen Clark Sheard from the Clark Sisters, Marvin Sapp, Albertina Walker, TaTa Vega, and New Direction. He continues to teach music to teens in the Chicago suburbs.
